The front snorkels designed by ylon-a®
are original French creations, protected against copying
(INPI design & model No. 082268 – INPI patent No. 08 02964).

The YSTI 01 front snorkel (for swimming) meets the needs and technical requirements of swimmers:
- The snorkel support is ergonomic and hydrodynamic.
- The fastening system is simple and highly effective against vibration.
- The removable mouthpiece makes cleaning easier.

Used by high-level athletes (Olympic Champions, World Champions, European Champions), it is an essential accessory for technical swimming training.
The ylon-a® YSTI 01 front snorkel has been selected by the French Underwater Federation (FFESSM) and the French Swimming Federation (FFN) for swim schools (Sauv’Nage and the Water Passport).
The snorkel dimensions comply with FFESSM and CMAS regulations.

NF EN 1972 Standard

ylon-a® swimming snorkels are designed and tested according to the NF EN 1972 standard, certified by the INPP in Marseille.
This standard is not a legal requirement, but an international safety recommendation intended to ensure a high level of protection and information for users.

NF EN 1972 certification guarantees:
- the quality and resistance of materials,
- compliance with durability and robustness criteria,
- absence of toxicity,
- respiratory safety,
- and the presence of all required consumer information.

Visibility in Water

To ensure maximum visibility for swimmers:
- Dark-colored snorkels (blue, black, green…) are supplied with a fluorescent safety sticker (pink, red, or yellow).
- Bright-colored snorkels (pink, red) are already clearly visible and do not require additional stickers.

Usage Recommendations

- According to safety guidelines, snorkels are not intended for individuals shorter than 150 cm (around 10–12 years old). In practice, these recommendations concern free use without supervision.
- In clubs, under the supervision of a coach, ylon-a® snorkels are safely used by many children from the age of 9.

Original & Unique

Beware of copies available on the market (often sold without packaging or certification).
Original ylon-a® snorkels are the only ones officially validated by the INPP and used by FFN, FFESSM, and CMAS.
