YSTI01 - SWIMMING

The YSTI 01 front snorkel by ylon-a® is a high-performance training tool designed for swimming and finswimming.

Developed in France and protected by industrial design and patent (INPI N°082268 – Patent N°08 02964), it is used in technical training by competitive swimmers and high-level athletes.

Designed to improve breathing stability, body position, and stroke efficiency, it meets the demands of intensive training environments.

The YSTI 01 snorkel features an ergonomic and hydrodynamic support, ensuring optimal alignment in the water. Its fixation system is simple and effective, reducing vibrations during use. The removable mouthpiece allows easy cleaning and maintenance.

This snorkel has been selected and used by major federations, including the French Swimming Federation (FFN), the French Underwater Federation (FFESSM), and CMAS. It is also integrated into official training programs such as “Sauv’nage” and “Passeport de l’eau”.

Used in high-level training environments, this snorkel is widely adopted by competitive swimmers, including athletes performing at national and international levels. It is an essential tool for technique development and performance improvement.

The ylon-a® snorkels are designed and tested according to the NF EN 1972 standard, validated by INPP (Marseille). This certification ensures material durability, non-toxicity, respiratory safety, and compliance with international safety standards.

Specifications: length 48 cm, outer diameter 20 mm. Available colors: blue, navy, black, red, green (aqua), and pink.

For optimal visibility in water, dark-colored snorkels are delivered with a high-visibility safety sticker (pink, red, or yellow), while bright-colored snorkels (red, pink) are naturally visible and require no additional marking.

Usage recommendations: generally intended for users taller than 150 cm. However, under supervision in clubs, they are commonly used safely by younger swimmers.

Beware of copies on the market. Original ylon-a® snorkels are the only ones officially tested by INPP and used by FFN, FFESSM, and CMAS.
